01The agreement

By buying a licence, or by installing or using Modlo Creator, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are allowed to bind it.

If you do not agree, please do not buy or use the software.

02Buying through Polar

Modlo Creator is sold through Polar, our merchant of record. Polar is the reseller you buy from: it processes your payment, works out any sales tax, VAT or GST that applies where you live, and sends your receipt. Polar's buyer terms cover the payment; these terms cover the software.

Prices are shown in Australian dollars. The checkout may show the equivalent in your own currency. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

03Your licence

When you buy Modlo Creator you receive a licence key. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the software, for personal or commercial work, on one computer at a time. To move it to another computer, deactivate it on the old one (in Modlo Creator, or from your customer portal), then activate it on the new one.

You are buying a licence to use the software, not the software itself. We keep all rights in Modlo Creator, its code, its look and its name.

04Activation and online checks

The software activates online with your licence key and checks it from time to time while it runs. After a successful check it works offline for up to 14 days. If it cannot confirm the licence after that, it asks you to go online before you can carry on working.

Keep your key private. Each key is for you (or your business) only.

05What you may not do

• Share, publish, resell, rent or give away your licence key or the software.
• Get around the licence check or help anyone else do so.
• Copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the software, except where the law allows it despite this term.
• Use the software to break the law or anyone else's rights.

06Grand Theft Auto V and third parties

Modlo Creator needs a legitimately owned copy of Grand Theft Auto V for PC. It reads props, textures, buildings and other data from your own installation. No game files are included with the software or sent to us.

Modlo Creator is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive or Cfx.re. Grand Theft Auto and related names are trademarks of their owners. You are responsible for following their terms, including the terms of FiveM and the Cfx.re platform, when you use, share or sell what you make.

07Your work

The interiors and projects you create are yours. You may use, share and sell them. That does not give you any rights in the game's own assets (such as its props and textures) that your work references or includes; those stay with their owners.

Keep backups of your projects. The software makes automatic backups, but we cannot recover your files for you.

08Updates and support

We may release updates that fix problems or add features, and may change or remove features over time. Support is by email at support@modlocreator.app; we aim to reply within a few business days.

09Your rights and our liability

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded, such as the Australian Consumer Law.

Apart from those rights, the software is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to supplying the software again or refunding what you paid.

10Ending the licence

If you seriously breach these terms (for example by sharing your key or getting around the licence check), we may deactivate your licence. If your order is refunded, or a payment is reversed or charged back, the licence ends and the key stops working.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. The terms that applied when you bought your licence still apply to that purchase unless you agree to new ones.
